Course description: 

This is a 5-days Instructor-Led lab course, the engineer will perform a variety of hands-on tasks including the removal and replacement of key system components and calibration of the detectors and patient table. The engineer will use diagnostic tools for detectors and motions as well as the performance of system troubleshooting. Topics addressed include removal and replacement of key system components, calibration of detectors, calibration of the patient table, system operation, troubleshooting, use of diagnostic tools, and performance of system tests.

Course objectives: 

Upon successful completion of the course the learner will be able to:

• Identify the key system components
• Remove and replace key system components
• Calibrate the detectors
• Calibrate the patient table
• Use the diagnostic tools for detectors and motions
• Troubleshoot the system.
