This tutorial discusses the Philips CX50 and CX30 CompactXtreme Ultrasound Systems. This module allows you to explore the features and functionality of the systems, the system setup screen and available transducers, as well as the Image Review and Connectivity features available on these systems.

The System Setup section of the module will:

  • Explain the Setup structure
  • Describe the basic configuration capabilities of each Setup tab; System, Mode, Preset Menu, Label, Tools & Results, Report, Meas & Calc, Acquisition, Peripherals, Options, Service, and Removable Media

The Transducers section of the module will:

  • Discuss compatible transducers and associated applications
  • Discuss how to connect a transducer to the CX50 or CX30 system 

The Image Review section of the module will:

  • Identify tool bar icons
  • Describe review screen options
  • Discuss review functions

The Connectivity section of the module will:

  • Discuss Media Export options
  • Explain Selective Export of Images
  • Describe the DICOM Viewer on Media features
  • Discuss Loop Export Optimization
