This Philips Vue PACS VNA Clinical Image Management course is a 6 hour on-line learning focused on users who have the Philips VNA and another vendor's PACS system.  You will acquire a better understanding of skills needed to become proficient on various administrative tasks and functions of Vue PACS applications. Additional optional materials are included for students who have both the Philips VNA and Philips Vue PACS.

  • Describe the various components comprising a PACS system.
  • Identify the different software components of the Vue PACS system.
  • Define the differences between users and groups.
  • Describe what profiles are, and how they are used.
  • Construct Users & Groups on the Vue PACS system.
  • Perform updates and reconciliations of studies in the PACS DB and Vue Explorer.
  • Log into Vue Motion and utilize this web-based viewer typically used by clinicians.
  • View and search out audit trail information.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in logging into system monitoring to run system checks on various common problems in the PACS system, and know what information is helpful when calling the Support Center.
  • Describe how to log into IS-Link for troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate how to log into InfoRouter for troubleshooting.
  • Perform System Monitoring using the System Monitoring Tools.
