Register What you will learn Course description: The purpose of this program is to provide technologists with the ability to understand and execute all basic and advanced functions and options of the Philips Digital Diagnost (DD) equipment. Training will consist of both didactic and hands on instruction. We will provide theoretical concepts and associated clinical reinforcement of digital radiography. Training in reprogramming the image processing parameters and techniques for image viewing, image reprocessing and manipulation as well as film formatting will be provided. The Key operator may also learn and demonstrate customization and manipulation of the anatomy database and configuration tool. Technologists will convey this understanding through hands on manipulation, exercises and demonstrations of proper visualization techniques to display the anatomy in question. Key operators are expected to provide training to additional radiology personnel as well as maintain the system for optimal image quality. Evaluation: Upon conclusion, the trainee shall demonstrate the ability to set up and manipulate the system, complete procedures efficiently, display image quality evaluation, and complete the skills checklist as well as show proficiency in customizing the database. A Clinical Education Program for Digital Radiography Systems with onsite Handover Education: A Philips Education Specialists will provide twenty-eight hours of education for up to four students, selected by customer, including technologists from night/weekend shifts if necessary. Students should attend all 28 hours, and must include any Offsite education attendees if applicable. CEU credits may be available if the participant meets the guidelines provided by Philips.
